Do we say al-salaamu ‘alayka ayyhu’l-nabiyyu or al-salaam ‘ala al-nabi in the tashahhud?
The scholars of the Standing Committee were asked:
It
was narrated that Ibn Mas’ood (radiAllahu 'anhu) said: The Messenger of
Allah (salAllahu 'alayhi wa salam) taught me the tashahhud with my hand
between his hands, just as he taught me a soorah from the Qur’an:
“Al-tahiyyaatu Lillaahi wa’l-salawaatu wa’l-tayyibaat al-salaamu
‘alayka ayyuha’l-nabiyyu… (All compliments, prayers and good words
are for Allah, peace be upon you, O Prophet…).” (That was) when he
was still among us. When he passed away, we started to say,
“al-salaam ‘ala al-nabi (peace be upon the Prophet (salAllahu 'alayhi wa salam)).”
Many people say the latter version and teach others to do likewise.

Photography: Halal or Haram?
Bismillah
As-Salamo Aleikom Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
I want to start by saying that I'm of the opinion that Photography is Halal as long as it meets certain points. I also want to say that there's difference of opinion among the scholars regarding this subject and I do follow the opinion of sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen in this.

Ruling on Women visiting Graves
Praise be to Allaah.
The correct view is that it is not allowed for women to visit graves, because of the hadeeth mentioned. It was narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed women who visit graves. Women should stop visiting graves. The woman who visited a grave out of ignorance (of this ruling) is not to blame, but she should not do it again. If she does so, she has to repent and seek forgiveness, and repentance cancels out whatever came before. Visiting graves is only for men. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Visit graves, for they will remind you of the Hereafter.”
