But I definitely agree with you. No one knows who is going to Hell or not, only Allah knows.
Some sisters, like myself, think niqaab is fard. There's a difference of opinion among the scholars, so how should we expect people to be in consensus regarding this? This is how I think. I do not say the sisters showing their face and hands are sinners. They follow a valid opinion just like me.

Another thing I would like to point out is that muntaqibat (niqabis) in the West usually go through a loooot of pressure from both Muslims and non-Muslims and this can make them more defensive, so, I would advise sisters to try to understand a little bit from both sides of the story.

On the other hand, I've been noticing some harshness from converts who adopt a certain group's ideals, even converts living in Egypt. Islam preaches balance and Allah loves kindness and gentleness, therefore I do not support any harsh treatment to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

jazaki Allahu Khairan for commenting sis =)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04062459028724852737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8023140630565578695.post-879670534515090582013-03-10T20:26:38.350+02:002013-03-10T20:26:38.350+02:00Asalam waliykum its a two way street sister.
I us...Asalam waliykum its a two way street sister.

I used to wear western clothes with a head scarf when i first started to practice. And whenever i would give salams to Niqabi sisters i would get a dirty look. They would stare at me like an alien as to say "How dare you say salam to me". I was not dressed in jilbab or niqab and therefore my salams were not accepted. So i have experienced it with sisters who wear niqab but i would never say all niqabi sisters are that way. Just a few i met... but also sisters in Niqab like to say we non niqabis will go to hell! authobillahi... i have heard some sisters say this. I now wear Jilbab covering the awrah as Allah and muhammed SAW requested, covering everything with outer garment apart from Hands and face. So why would i go to hell for doing the fard??

So its deffo' a two way street. We non niqabis get a bashing from those who wear niqab.
